The inventor of the WipeOutz is none other than the American top tattoo artist and friend of the company Mike DeVries.
Already in 2005 Mike DeVries developed together with Mario Rosenau, also a well-known American top tattoo artist, the stencil fluid Stencil Stuff. Today Stencil Stuff is one of the world's leading products for precise and long-lasting stencils.
In 2018 we met Mike at the trade show in Las Vegas where only selected manufacturers of tattoo products presented themselves. Mike had a small booth and presented his sterile tattoo wipes to the public for the first time. Quickly it was clear to us - we have to bring this product to Europe. The Wipe Outz Dry are sterilized tattoo wipes in a pack of 10 to clean the tattooed skin during tattooing. We have never seen a comparable product before.
What makes the Wipe Outz different from kitchen towels?
- The Wipe Outz are tattoo wipes sterilized with gamma rays. It couldn't be cleaner or more hygienic. There is nothing more to say about this.
- Thanks to a specially developed fabric, the Wipe Outz are many times more economical than kitchen roll. Every tattoo artist wipes differently often during the tattooing process. In addition, each tattoo artist produces a different amount of excess ink on the skin and each customer bleeds differently. So it is difficult to make a comparison in concrete numbers. Fact is: We have observed at the trade show how a tattoo on the inside of a forearm in Black and Grey was cleaned with only one Wipe Outz towel the whole session. From a normal kitchen roll, at least 30 - 50 sheets would have been used.
- The fabric of the Wipe Outz is also super soft. Your customers will thank you for using the Wipe Outz. Apart from the fact that wiping is much less painful for your customers, the skin is also less irritated after frequent wiping.
- Wipe Outz does not leave any residue in your needle. You certainly know it: sooner or later, kitchen rolls leave small residues in the needle. This prevents clean and precise work. Either you clean the tattoo needle, which takes unnecessary time, or you take a new needle. This annoying problem belongs to the past with the Wipe Outz.
- With the Wipe Outz tattoo wipes you save a lot of space in the warehouse of your tattoo studio. While a decent stock of kitchen towels can take up several square meters of storage space, you can store Wipe Outz in the cabinet next to the gloves.
- The price. Of course Wipe Outz costs a bit more than the kitchen roll. But the above mentioned points should be worth this small price difference to you. They are sterile, economical, softer, leave no residue and they take up much less space in the storage of your tattoo studio.
