The first two days: wound care, fast and professional
Some tattoo artists simply wrap a freshly stung tattoo in cling film like a cut melon - but that's certainly not your style, is it? After all, you know that Care Days 1-2, the one to two days immediately after the tattoo session, are the basis for a glowing tattoo and that the stressed skin now needs very special attention. In order to optimally protect the tattooed skin and accelerate wound healing, you should ideally apply a professional patch after thorough cleansing; e.g. the

The innovative, almost invisible wound protection film from TattooMed® promotes healing and protects against inflammation, crusting and the penetration of foreign bodies such as germs, bacteria or simply impurities through clothing. The TattooMed® Tattoo-Protection Film provides an optimal moist wound climate and helps the skin to quickly reseal its first layer, the epidermis.
The following 3 weeks: clean and protected
After about two days, the symptoms of inflammation subside and the regeneration phase begins. The first layer of skin is now already closed again and protects against the penetration of foreign bodies, but the second layer of skin (dermis) is still in the healing process. For about three weeks, the skin now works intensively on cell regeneration. New skin cells permanently enclose the color pigments in the dermis. In order for the pigments to be perfectly enclosed and for the tattoo to develop its full quality, the skin now needs sufficient moisture and nutrients. If the skin is too dry, the later visibility, color and sharpness of the tattoo can be damaged.
The task of proper care in the crucial 21 days after tattooing is left to your client alone at home. But you can support him or her by providing or recommending the best care products. The right cleansing is the most important thing and the optimal nourishing care, especially for the regeneration phase in the first three weeks, is the most important thing.
Let's start with the cleansing: The PH neutral TattooMed® Cleansing Gel is a highly effective cleansing gel that frees the skin surface from impurities and germs while protecting the natural greasy film on the skin. You can use it yourself in your studio for cleansing before patching and then recommend it to your clients especially (but not only) for cleansing during the first 21 days.

Twice a day, the freshly stung tattoo should be cleaned with Cleansing Gel, then TattooMed® after tattoo Skin Protection with Dexpanthenol is applied, which forms a protective film on the skin and provides it with moisture and high-quality nutrients. The lotion supports cell renewal, prevents the skin from getting dry and relieves tension and itching. Your stuff can be applied thinly 2-3 times a day.

Color protection! The Daily Care afterwards
After about three weeks, the skin is more relaxed about the tattoo - and so will your clients. Cell regeneration is now complete and the tattoo shines in all its glory. In order for it to stay this beautiful and not fade or blur, it should be moisturised daily and protected from environmental influences such as UV radiation. We recommend TattooMed® daily tattoo care with provitamin B5. It is free of parabens and dermatologically tested. Simply apply TattooMed® daily tattoo care every day after showering - it also cares for and protects un-tattooed skin and makes it silky soft.

The best time to show off your tattoo artwork in all its glory is the lightly clad summer and holiday season. But unfortunately this time is also particularly dangerous for tattooed skin. Although it is ultimately up to your clients to provide adequate sun protection to keep their tattoo healthy and colorful for many years, you can also help with valuable tips.
Specifically for sun protection, TattooMed® has developed a line of products with an advanced multi-layered broad-spectrum filter system that protects the skin from sunburn and dehydration while nourishing it. While TattooMed® Sun Protection products work well as a sunscreen for the whole body, they ensure that harmful UVA and UVB rays do not reach and damage the color pigments, especially on tattooed skin.
