Why is the new Flite X1 much more than just another battery powered tattoo machine?

For the first time we heard about the Inkjecta Flite X1 was at the Tattoo Convention Dortmund in 2017 from Benjamin Laukis. So already three years ago. At that time the battery powered Inkjecta didn't even have a name. Benjamin, as a long-time Inkjecta Pro Team Artist, has already tested the first prototype in 2017. Benjamin was already excited about the prototype and thought that this machine would revolutionize the tattoo machine market.

The intensive exchange with the Pro Team

Other pro team artists at Inkjecta are Mick Squirres, Steve Butcher, Jenna Kerr, Sam Barber, Tater Tatts and Frank Carrilho. The list of international top tattoo artists is long - very long! On Instagram you can find the corresponding Pro Team account under @inkjectapro.

Byron and Chris, the owners of the Inkjecta company and themselves experienced tattooists, work intensively with their Pro Team during the development and take the feedback of the artists into account. From this intensive exchange and the fact that Byron and Chris themselves together have over 30 years of experience as tattoo artists, the saying "From tattoo artists - for tattoo artists" is not an empty phrase. It is the pure truth. Inkjecta is one of the few manufacturers who can rightfully claim this.

By the way, one of the Pro Team Artists, Mick Squirres has created an interesting unboxing video for the Inkjecta X1:

Inkjecta was one of the first manufacturers to take up the challenge of developing a battery powered tattoo machine.

Since Benjamin told us about the Flite X1 already in 2017 and the development of such an innovative product certainly takes more than a year, one can assume that Inkjecta has already started the development in 2015 / 2016. This shows us that Inkjecta was probably one of the first to take up the challenge and that Inkjecta took a lot of time for the market-ready development and production.

The core functions

No other battery operated tattoo machine currently on the market offers such a wide range of functions. In the following you will find the core functions of the Inkjecta Flite X1. The exact description of the X1 can be found in the article description.

  • Unlimited freedom through Li-Ion battery operation
  • Intuitive and ergonomic Smart controls by simply tilting the machine
  • Full compatibility and flexibility with Flite Nano spare parts
  • Typical Inkjecta: A lightweight in its class
  • The heart of the machine: Double nano technology

What exactly distinguishes the Inkjekta Flite X1 from other battery-powered tattoo machines?

  1. Like all other Inkjecta machines, the Flite X1 has a motor with nano technology. But not only one! The X1 even has 2 nano technology motors. Because with the Flite X1 you can easily increase or decrease the depth of the tattoo machine with the push of a button while you are working. And you don't even need a Flex Grip for this. With the Inkjecta Flite X1 you can also regulate the stitch depth with Fixed Grips.

  2. You can adapt your Flite X1 to your individual needs with the spare parts of the Flite Nano family. This is currently also a unique selling point. With the different needle bars (Torsion Bars) you can regulate the hardness of the machine and with the eccentrics you can vary the stroke of the machine between 2,5mm and 4mm and adjust it optimally for e.g. shading or lining. For many professional tattoo artists this is the big advantage of Inkjecta machines.

  3. Last but not least: The Inkjecta Flite X1 is currently the lightest battery operated tattoo machine on the market. With the large battery it weighs only 144g.

As you can see: The Inkjecta has it all. Technology and innovation at its best!
