The Dr. Schumacher-Story
The founder of the company, Dr. Henning Schumacher, a chemist with a doctorate, worked and did research for many years at well-known companies. In 1978 he set up his own business. With the development of the first aldehyde-free disinfectant in the world, Dr. Schumacher GmbH focused in the 1980s in particular on the good compatibility of its products. At the end of the 1990s, there was a generation change: Henning Schumacher handed over the company to his sons Jens and Dierk, who also set to work with relevant expertise: Dierk Schumacher is a chemist like his father, Jens Schumacher is a pharmacist. To this day, research and development form a decisive foundation of the family business.

The ready-to-use and fast-acting Dr. Schumacher Descosept Pur rapid disinfection is intended for the disinfection of medical inventory as well as alcohol-resistant surfaces of all kinds in accordance with the Biocide Directive. The fragrance- and aldehyde-free ethanol-based rapid disinfectant is particularly suitable for surfaces that are difficult to access. Due to the aldehyde-free formula, it leaves no residues, deposits or discolouration on surfaces. In addition, Dr. Schumacher Descosept Pur rapid disinfection is characterized by good skin compatibility and is therefore particularly recommended for allergy sufferers and skin-sensitive persons.

However, the "Dr. Schumacher modular system" also includes dry fleece wipes and empty dispenser buckets, which you can purchase separately. Why? So that you can prepare a disinfectant solution of your choice yourself as practical disinfectant wipes.
Dr. Schumacher Eco Wipes non-woven wipes dispenser, which you can get from us with a capacity of 3.4 litres, is a dispenser bucket developed precisely for the production, hygienic storage and removal of moist wipes. The wipes are removed from an absolutely leak-proof, resealable wipe dispenser system specially designed for this application. This reusable bucket is dishwasher safe up to 60° C.
These dry Dr. Schumacher Eco Wipes made of high-quality and lint-free non-woven fabric, which we offer in rolls of 100 wipes each, can be used soaked with all surface disinfectants. They deliver the disinfectant solution excellently to the surface - working with them is very economical. Of course, the nonwoven materials offered by Dr. Schumacher GmbH, which are produced in-house, are certified according to FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes). Thanks to this combination solution, you can also prepare disinfectant wipes with Dr. Schumacher OPTISAL N as an alternative to Descosept. The liquid concentrate Optisal N is particularly recommended for surface disinfection and cleaning in areas where not only high hygienic requirements are to be met, but also unpleasant odours are to be avoided. The aldehyde- and phenol-free disinfectant cleaner has a pleasant fresh scent and high cleaning power, e.g. for PVC/linoleum floors. Adhesive effects are avoided. Dr. Schumacher OPTISAL N is bactericidal, tuberculocidal, levurocidal and limited virucidal (incl. HBV/HIV/HCV/Vaccinia/BVDV/influenza/flu viruses).
The alcohol-, phenol- and aldehyde-free, 20 x 22 cm Dr. Schumacher Cleanisept Wipes Maxi are ready to use for the rapid disinfection of surfaces, but also of medical equipment such as ultrasound heads. These disinfecting wipes are particularly gentle on materials and can be conveniently removed thanks to a practical POP-up closure.

Dr. Schumacher DESCO CLEANER Instrument Cleaner is a particularly powerful alkaline powder cleaner that ensures automatic and extremely thorough quick cleaning of instruments and equipment made of metal, plastic, ceramics, glass and porcelain. It proves particularly effective in the case of high levels of soiling caused by protein and blood residues and is also suitable for use in ultrasonic baths.

The formaldehyde-free Dr. Schumacher DESCOTON EXTRA instrument disinfectant is ideally suited for the virucidal final disinfection of your instruments in an immersion bath. It is bactericidal, tuberculocidal, levurocidal and virucidal and is included in the current disinfectant list of the VAH/DGHM.
Close to the skin: disinfection and caring cleaning
Finally, your hands and the skin of your customers should be cleaner than clean. The alcohol-based hand disinfectant Dr. Schumacher Aseptoman for rubbing into the skin is an ideal product for your daily studio routine. Aseptoman is effective against Noro, Rota and Adenoviruses. Due to its low alcohol content, however, This hand disinfectant is also available in a fragrance-free version.

For allergy sufferers and people with sensitive skin, the ready-to-use, alcoholic and perfume-free disinfectant Dr. Schumacher DESCODERM is recommended for rubbing into the skin and hands. It is suitable for disinfection as well as for the preparation of cooling compresses. Without the addition of allergenic additives such as perfume, dyes and preservatives, phenol and QAV as well as cumulative long-term active ingredients, DESCODERM is bactericidal (including MRSA), tuberculocidal, levurocidal as well as against HBV, HIV, BVDV and HCV, Rota, Vaccinia and Noro viruses.
Dr. Schumacher DESCOSAN skin-friendly washing lotion cleans stressed, sensitive skin particularly gently. It is pH-neutral and free of colourants. Mild, skin-friendly cleansing surfactants, allantoin, lanolin and refatting agents minimise the drying out of the skin caused by frequent washing. Descoscan is not only suitable for hand cleansing, but also for body washing.
